National Trust Flatford Easter Egg Hunt

We’ll be spending part of our Easter this year by taking this outdoor Easter Egg trail at Flatford again. Having been last year, this is one we recommend and I’m looking forward to going again this year and seeing if there’s anything new! With such a picturesque backdrop, it’s the perfect place to make a day of it - head for a walk and pack a picnic or pop into the nearby Flatford tea rooms for lunch. Last year there was welly wanging, hoop throwing, giant jenga, and hopscotch, to name a few - all the activities are perfect for a range of ages, and adults can join in too. At the end, there was also an optional colouring activity.

Foxburrow’s brand-new extended family sessions invite parents to step into the wild alongside their little adventurers for a full four-hour immersive Forest School experience. Hop into an Easter storytime adventure with TATA Tots! Little ones can enjoy magical tales, an Easter egg hunt, and creative crafts. Plus, thanks to Suffolk Libraries, new students get a free book and library card. We LOVE this class. Admittedly I haven’t taken any photos during the sessions but Leo loves this class and we nearly always leave with a prop/mask and/or a craft. A different book is brought to lift each week with acting and expression and the session finishes with crafts, colouring, and bubbles. Next door is a fab play area too, ideal to burn off even more energy after.
