Piggybacks, sunglass pinching, and a whole lot of pointing at Thornham Walks in Eye last Saturday, Nanna in tow. If you’re looking for exciting days out in Suffolk with kids, this is such a great spot.

I honestly don’t know how we’ve never been here before. £2 parking (£3 on weekends) and the rest is free. The Estate has 2000 acres of woodland, parkland and farmland.

You’ll find:

  • Woodland trails

  • Wood carvings

  • Den building

  • A walled garden

  • Cafes

  • Various shops and galleries

  • A fantastic play area

We had such a lovely time scampering about and there’s a ton still to explore when we next return. Leo even met another little boy called Leo on the swings and the pair were in absolute hysterics making each other giggle. Way too cute.
